The 30-credit executive master's in international relations is designed for experienced midcareer professionals to enhance their existing skill sets and address gaps in knowledge. The core of this program focuses on leadership, foreign policy and global governance, with elective courses that offer students an interdisciplinary understanding of international affairs based on one of six career tracks and a regional concentration of their choice. The 40-credit master’s in international relations is an advanced foundational education preparing students to develop evidence-based solutions to address international issues. The core of the program offers students a solid foundation in international management, leadership, research design, statistics, and economics. Elective courses offer students an interdisciplinary understanding of international affairs based on their topical and/or regional area of interest. Students specialize in one of six career tracks and may study abroad. Coursework for this program is offered at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York; Washington, DC; and at a range of sites around the globe. This 16-month program is targeted at early career professionals. It includes a practical work experience where students can apply their skillset in a professional environment. The degree is finalized via a capstone experience.

The 12-credit (four courses) Data Analytics for Public Policy Certificate of Advanced Study prepares professionals looking to gain advanced skills in managing and analyzing large amounts of data, and familiarity with public policy and governance issues raised using new forms of data. Graduates complete a required 3-credit course in Data-Driven Decision Making and 9 additional credits of graduate coursework. The 12-credit (four courses) Public Leadership and Management Certificate of Advanced Study prepares professionals looking to identify and define key public administration concepts, explain and assess leadership and managerial theories, skills and competencies, apply problem-solving and analytic skills, and develop their role and potential as a public administrator and leader. Graduates complete a required 3-credit course in Managerial Leadership and 9 additional credits of graduate coursework. Coursework for this program is offered online and on campus in Syracuse, N.Y. and Washington, D.C. Please note that this graduate certificate underwent a curricular revision in 2021; while the learning outcomes did not change, the name was previously listed as the "Public Administration, C.A.S."
