The Conflict Management and Collaboration microcredential demonstrates the learning and practice of conflict- and collaboration-related skillsets in an interactive workshop setting. Through the completion of at least three (3) workshops offered by Conflict Management Center’s (CMC) annual workshop series (9 hours total of interactive workshop attendance), participants learn basic conflict management theory, instructive frameworks that help individuals analyze conflict, and essential skills that can help transform conflict into opportunities for constructive engagement and collaboration.
By the program’s conclusion, participants will better understand their conflict tendencies, demonstrate the ability to assess and understand a range of conflict-related scenarios, and a workshop-practiced ability to intervene in conflicts to transform them into a more constructive and collaborative engagement.
